Sharla Flock Designs is a floral design studio specializing in beautiful wedding and event work. Our passion for flowers is deeply rooted in our desire to connect nature & people through creating designs that cerebrate the people they represent.

We practice sustainability throughout our business and love supporting our local growers as well as taking cuttings from our own garden. Our honeysuckle and scented geranium are amazing! We believe in the power of flowers and enjoy nothing more than donating arrangements following our events to homebound seniors in our community.

Sharla’s love for flowers bloomed as a child when a close family friend launched her first flower shop out of the back of her father’s law office in the 1970’s. Since this time Sharla has followed the path to happiness through flowers.

As owner & principal designer, Sharla’s design ability & desire to create is far reaching. Ranging from intimate weddings to elaborate event design. Each project is embraced with excitement and commitment to deliver floral design that is centered in a deep love for her craft and with a BFA in Fine Arts under her belt, Sharla truly understands how color, composition, and design plays into creating truly unique floral & event design.

Sharla’s floral arrangement graced the cover of Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine in the spring of 2010 and speaks to the quality of work she & her staff produce. Since opening Sharla Flock Designs in 2002, Sharla’s work has been published over 30 times in various leading industry magazines.

When choosing Sharla Flock Designs for your wedding or event, you are consciously deciding to ensure that your special event will be artful, unique, and created by someone who is passionate about your vision and is focused on the details.

Yesterday was a very good day. Our lovely (and incredibly patient) bride and groom finally tied the knot after 3 venue and date changes 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Huge thanks to my team for slaying it this week and to my florist turned wedding planner friend, @mandyscott_events for brining this wedding to life for all of us 🌸 ...

Rehearsal Dinner Magic ✨ Happy to be back at it! ...

Sunday morning feels. I’m waking up to the never ending checklist of things on my mind that need to do get done before our (postponed 2 times) wedding on July 31 and feeling kinda anxious. But, also really excited. Being the boss lady means your head is often times full of anxious thoughts of wanting everything to go perfectly and going through the installation in your mind, step by step. I guess this is what happens when your last large wedding was in January 2020. But, that wedding in January was with my flowering friend turned planner @mandyscott_events and this one is too. Feels good to be working with really good people again after being away so long. Buckle up kids, big weddings are back!!!! ...

Reunited ❤️19 months in the making! Grateful to finally be home!!!! ...

Big weddings are coming back, big time! But, still incredibly grateful for the small ones filled with big love earlier this year. This one right here connected me with old friends and new ones too, which was a gift. Here’s to easing into the wedding season with gratitude for what we have been through and what beauty awaits us. ...

Happy Father’s Day, Father Flock! The best Dad a kid could grow up with and continue to have as a good friend in life. What a gift it is being your daughter ❤️ P.S. he was going to pick these flowers for my Mom on his hike, but decided it was better to take the whole plant 😆 ...

Moved to tears today as my supportive staff allowed this little wedding to happen for our couple today. What an incredible gift with no one around except my staff as the organist warmed up. Grateful ❤️ ...

Bouquets to Art bouquets for special guests this evening for Opening Night. Things are different this year for me personally, as well as the @deyoungmuseum, but still super grateful to be apart of this incredible event and that the public has the opportunity to enjoy it as well. Cheers to my fellow flowering friends and to the beautiful pieces you have created for all to enjoy. #bta2021 ...
